In honor of my sister-in-law's recent engagement at Disney World and our upcoming Ines Di Santo trunk show (not to mention all of our wonderful Disney brides-to-be!), we thought it would be fun to imagine what our favorite Disney princesses would wear on their big day. That's right, Disney princess BRIDES! What could be better? Let's kick things off with a classic beauty - Cinderella. Her demure blue ball gown is very in vogue with the color we have been seeing on the bridal runways lately. If it were up to us, we would dress Cinderella in Bluebelle from Ines Di Santo's Spring/Summer 2016 collection. This pale blue, tip of the shoulder ball gown is perfectly suited for royalty with paillette organza, Alençon lace and bias organza detail. Being that it's 2015, we think Cinderella could kick it up a notch and go for a plunging v-neckline. Cinderella From a classic fairytale to modern day diva, next up is Princess Elsa. Her penchant for all things icy instantly reminded us of the Jules gown, also from S/S 2016. This illusion sleeves on this natural waist ball-gown make the Swarovski crystals and fresh water pearls appear as if they are snow flakes falling directly onto the skin. Perfect for a winter wedding! Elsa We love Princess Jasmine's fiery, independent personality. The only Princess known for choosing a pants ensemble over a dress, we think she would kill it in the lace body suit from Ines Di Santo's most recent collection. Named Ciana, this look is not for the faint-of-heart and shows a lot of skin…something we think midriff-baring Jasmine would love. The detachable tulle skirt gives the look a more bridal feel and is a nod to the flowy layer on Jasmine's harem pants. Jasmine Princess Belle was born a commoner, but her taste in formalwear was anything but common. Who can forget her gold ball gown glittering as she danced with her Beast in the grand ballroom? Belle is everything a Princess should be - caring, loving, compassionate - and deserving of a true fairytale ball gown like Julia from Ines Di Santo's S/S 2016 collection. This embellished natural waist ball gown with layers of embroidered and paillettes tulle is certainly a jaw-dropper. Belle A lover of gadgets, gizmos, whose-its and whats-its, we are pretty certain that Princess Ariel would settle for nothing less than over the top drama! The Salerno gown, from Ines Di Santo's Fall 2015 collection, is a beautifully embellished fit to flare gown (a mermaid silhouette would just be too obvious!) with ruffled detachable train - which is reminiscent of ocean waves - that really gives the WOW factor. ariel Pocahontas loves nature, and she spends her time exploring the land. She doesn't have time to deal with a cumbersome gown, so short and sassy is just what she needs. We love Radiant from Ines Di Santo's latest Fall collection! This playful beaded lace mini dress with asymmetrical skirt would allow her to run and jump while looking totally regal. Pocahontas What do you think? Did we miss any of your favorite Princesses? Sound off in the comments…we would love to hear what you think our girls would wear on their big day! XO & Fairytales... Nicole & Fondren
